Provide Volunteer Fee / Donation to start application process |
| |
Apply / Send in a recent clear police check (recommend : apply 6 months before travel) |

Valid Passport for a minimum of 180 days with at least two blank pages. |
| |
APPLY FOR EMPLOYENT VISA (recommend : apply 2 months before travel) - Visa is valid from date of processing not date of travel. |
Other important items to remember |

Vacinations, please check with your local GP for their current recommendations for visiting India. (for example, protection for TB, Polio, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid) |

International Driving licence if you would like to drive a scooter or car in India (available from RAC or AA) |
| |
Spending Money - Cash, travellers cheques or plastic. to give you an idea of how much it costs, please check out the Goa price lists |
| |
Prescription Medication. Please inform Educators Trust of any medical issues that might occur durnig your time in India. |

Travel Insurance for the duration of your stay. Free insurance from banks etc does not normally cover you for volunteering/long term stays outside europe. |
