Liahona Light
Previously a children's home Liahona Light has been donated to Educators' Trust India and we are desperately keen to renovate the property to develop a residential school for girls at risk; providing them with a safe and secure environment where they can live and receive a quality education.
Silcoates School a UK school based in Wakefield wants to set up an on-going link between Liahona Light and it is hoped that the 2012 pioneering trip will be the first of many for Silcoates students over the coming years. Developing a long-term cross-cultural relationship with the school, its teachers and students see this as an opportunity to support the local communities and children. It will also present opportunities for students to learn about each other's cultures and to develop a real sense of kinship over the coming years. This trip will therefore be the start of something very special. Learn more about what Silcoates School is doing to prepare for the trip.

This list especially will grow as we work on our new home for girls. The house will need to be completely refitted and stocked. We will update this list but are happy to receive general donations towards the project for the moment.
