Needs List
We always have a list of items that are currently 'needed' to allow us to continue or improve the work we do with the children in India, this list can be as basic as 'a weeks fruit', or sometimes when we need a larger item we might list a new cooker, fridge or even school bus. For the larger items we obviously don't expect one person to buy a bus (although if you know anyone who can that would be great! :), so we create Just Giving Fundraising Pages so lots of people can donate smaller amounts. If you donate for something from this list then all the donation that we receive will be used directly towards that item.
This list has been created using an exchange rate of 75 Rs per pound and 47 Rs to the dollar. All figures are rounded upto the nearest whole Pound/Dollar.
 Leading Light
The School Uniform, Bag and Shoes are required for all the children who attend Leading Light. Currently around 20 Children. |
Inspiring Light
As this is a new project we are delgihted to receive stationary items to stock the resources cupboard. Items like scissors, paper, card, cellotape, small toys, basic medical kit etc would be great. For a more detailed list please see our gifts in kind section.

This list especially will grow as we work on our new home for girls. The house will need to be completely refitted and stocked. We will update this list but are happy to receive general donations towards the project for the moment. |
