Charity Baggage Application
Are you coming to Goa? Have you got room in your case or can manage to bring out an extra bag for charity? If you can, then we are always happy to receive good quality, clean second hand clothes, toys, stationary and any items for children. Please note - Some visitors are very generous and even buy new items to bring out. If you are thinking about this please remember that some items (especially stationary and toiletries) can be available locally cheaper. We are always happy to advise further about this, so please contact Sue at the UK Office if you require any information.
Some airlines allow passengers free excess luggage if the items are being brought for registered charities. We can organise an excess luggage allowance for anyone flying on charter flights, so please do get in touch and we will contact the airline on your behalf. Do keep in mind that the allowance is only for charity goods and only for the out going flight. If you are flying by a scheduled flight then please contact the airlines directly, if they require any further information we are happy to help.
Please give us advance warning and generally at least 4 weeks notice, as the airline companies will not always help unless they get our requests at least a month in advance.
